All frames come with a 2-year warranty and parts (motor, battery, main body and controller) come with a 1-year warranty from the date of your purchase.

Register your warranty

Register your warranty within 1 month of purchase by completing Mearth's online warranty card at www.mearth.com.au. Without registering your warranty, it may render the warranty void. Keep your proof of purchase to produce in instances of making a warranty claim. Warranties are limited to original customers, and not transferable. Warranty claims are conditional and must be approved before completing repairs. All repairs must be completed by Mearth or an approved retailer.

Storage

Keep your scooter stored fully charged and recharge it every month, to ensure it continues to take charge.

Battery Warranty

The battery warranty is provided in line with an expected annual deterioration rate of 25%. Replacement batteries can be purchased. In case of a substantial deviation from this deterioration rate over time, your battery can be repaired or replaced provided it has been used according to all the terms and conditions. If depositing a battery, there is a 40-day inspection period.

Preserving your battery, safe battery use & charging

Some factors can accelerate battery deterioration. Avoid overloading, monitor and check air pressure, wheel alignment and balancing, braking, moisture and high temperatures. Avoid storing your battery without charging/discharging it for a time period exceeding 30 days. (Discharge the battery by running it from 1 bar, stopping use, then placing battery on charge until FULL, or at least 4 hours on a consistent charge.) Charge your battery at the end of every significant use period. Wait for 30 minutes after long rides before commencing charging. It is also normal for the battery capacity to reduce to 80-95% after 1 year and 55-80% after 2 years. Replacement batteries are available. Disconnect the charger from the wall socket after every use. Damage to the charger from current fluctuations is not covered within the framework of the warranty. Keep your charger at a safe distance from flammable materials. Charge in a ventilated. Avoid storing your battery in high temperatures. Avoid using the charger if you notice indicator lights or exposure to moisture.

Terms and Conditions

Use your scooter in line with manufacturer instructions and local Australian laws. Use protective accessories, including a helmet, knee protectors, elbow protectors, riding gloves and suitable garments. The product’s speed and travel range are affected by rider’s weight, wind, wheel air pressure and the product’s battery charge status. Do not tamper with the device, as this will void the warranty and may affect the safety of the device.

Returns & Refunds

We’re confident that you will be absolutely delighted with the quality and value of our products. If you are not totally satisfied for any reason or if you changed your mind about your purchase, you can choose to return your item for a refund of the original purchase price excluding original shipping fees (and return fees if the return is arranged by us).

All returns must be made within 14 days of the original purchase date, unused and in their original packaging. All shipping costs to return are the responsibility of the customer. Once the item is received and confirmed to be in original condition, we can approve and process a refund.
